New MHK takes on Acute Healthcare Services
The Department of Health and Social Care has unveiled its new political line-up.
Minister Howard Quayle says Ralph Peake MHK and Tony Wild MLC joined the department last month – and have now been assigned areas of responsibility.
Mr Peake will take charge of Acute Healthcare Services, while Mr Wild assumes control of Children and Families Social Care Services.
David Quirk MHK stays at Adult Social Care Services and Michael Coleman MLC retains responsibility for Mental Health Services, corporate governance, Primary Healthcare Services and the Drug and Alcohol Action Team.
