Health minister says it's an operational matter
The health minister has distanced the department from a decision made to de-register a number of patients from a GP practice.
Ballasalla Medical Centre has removed patients who don't live in the catchment area from its list.
Manx Care says it's due to the population increases in the area - however, they state the practice reviewed all patients clinically before removing them from the register.
Health Minister Lawrie Hooper told Manx Radio the decision was taken by the individual GP practice:
