Charity distributing parcels around Isle of Man
New support packs for people with Type 2 diabetes aim to combat an 'inconsistent diagnosis process'.
Charity, Diabetes Isle of Man, is distributing the parcels, containing booklets and guides to assist those with the illness.
Diabetes affects around 6% of the Island's population, a figure the charity say is set to increase over the coming years.
For more information on the packs or to understand how you can support Diabetes Isle of Man, the charity can be contacted on hello@diabetesisleofman.com or 622325.
Development Manager Natasha Parry hopes the packs will ensure the information given at the time of diagnosis is the same for everyone:

Some pubs to stay open for early-hours England match
Tynwald to revisit rates bill after the election
