Comments made at launch of simulator
Isle of Man Railways diesel locomotive remains out of action for now, but progress should be made soon.
Director of Public Transport Ian Longworth made the admission as he was being interviewed live on Manx Radio this afternoon.
It was at the launch of 'Drive the Diesel', a simulator of the locomotive, which people can try out at the Railway Museum in Port Erin.
The real thing has been beset by problems since it was bought two-and-a-half years ago at a cost of £400,000, with the current issue putting it out of action since TT last year.
Mr Longworth says work will commence to sort it out shortly:
