Latest step towards 'fully integrated health record'
Patient access to community healthcare services could become faster after the introduction of digital referrals.
The software will be used by services including Adult Community Nursing, Children and Families, and Hospice.
The new system will remove the risk of paper referrals being lost or misunderstood.
Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford says it's another step towards creating a 'fully integrated health record' for patients.
