DEFA Minister heads delegation at UK conference
Digital technology will play a pivotal role in the future of farming, according to Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture.
Geoffrey Boot headed a DEFA delegation to the Oxford Farming Conference last week.
At the event, UK environment secretary, Michael Gove, outlined the direction of UK farming policy in the face of Brexit.
Mr Boot says some of the ideas put forward by his UK counterpart weren't suitable for the agricultural sector here - but greater use of data and technology could bring major benefits to Manx farmers:
