Money being raised for Isle Listen
There'll be a fundraising sea dip in Port Erin this weekend.
Isle Listen has organised the event to coincide with the Autumn Equinox, the date when day and night are of equal length.
Called Sea Dip for ‘Solstice', the charity says it will be a relaxed morning of wellbeing, extending beyond a dip in the sea.
Fundraising Lead at Isle Listen, Steven Downward, says: "We host our sea dip events twice a year and they are always such a positive community event. They really bring people together and promote wellbeing.
"This time we’re delighted to try something new, playing on the autumnal theme and encouraging dippers to enjoy a wholesome morning, with the added meditation added to bring calm and focus.
"We are including the candle and some meditation tips to take home to promote wellbeing beyond the event and into the autumn and winter.”
It's taking place on Sunday 21 September from 9.30am, and if you'd like to take part, you can register on the Isle Listen website.
