Police ease switchboard burden

Most used numbers available during daytime

The police say they hope releasing a list of regularly requested phone numbers will free up switchboard staff at their headquarters.

Research has been carried out to work out which people and departments are most popular.

Non-emergency crimes, motoring matters, or lost and found property enquiries should still be reported by calling 631212 or via www.iompolice.im

Sergeant Will Moffatt says the ten numbers can be used between 8am and 4pm.
