Enterprise Minister confirms grants are available to upgrade accessible facilities
Providing accessible changing rooms and toilet facilities shouldn't just be the responsibility of the visitor economy.
That's from Enterprise Minister Dr Alex Allinson, who was questioned about accessibility in government facilities at this week's sitting of the House of Keys.
He confirmed his department offers grants of up to £7,500 as an incentive to encourage businesses to upgrade their facilities for disabled visitors.
But, Dr Allinson says other sectors have a part to play:
Patient calls for more transparency over ENT waiting times and services
Hopes to replace Castletown Golf Links site with "5-star hotel"
More local authorities announce above inflation rate rises
Law firm offers free no-obligation session
Arbory and Rushen Commissioners says rate was set after 'detailed scrutiny'
