The environment, food and agriculture minister says it was 'especially disappointing' for the meat plant to start the year with problems.
Isle of Man Meats recently had to recall a number of beef products after a machine breakdown led to delays to its production line.
In the House of Keys today (Tuesday 30 January) the minister said it was unfortunate timing, following an increase in its throughput of cattle over the previous six months.
