Recruitment event at the Sefton Hotel today
An event aimed at giving people the chance to find volunteering opportunities on the Isle of Man returns for the first time since lockdown this weekend.
Representatives from more than 30 charitable organisations will be at the Sefton Hotel today (9 March) hoping to recruit people to support their causes as part of Volunteers Week.
From Girl Guiding and the Salvation Army to Age Concern and Heroes on the Water, it's hoped those looking to give back to their communities will find their perfect match.
Organiser Alison Lester, from Isle of Man Live At Home, says the roles available are varied and can be for all ages:
The recruitment events is being supported by Douglas Rotary Club in its centenary year.
