It's emerged discussions have been underway between two government departments over the future of the Island's youth cafe, Cafe Laare in Douglas.
The facility in the former Travel Shop on Lord Street was leased to education by the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure in 2010.
The premises by the bus station were transformed into a town centre meeting point for young people - and the cafe has proved a big success.
It's understood the DCCL may want to take the premises back, to use as a facility for bus and train passengers. It's thought Cafe Laare would be offered alternative premises in return.
A statement from the education department confirms discussions have taken place but nothing has yet been decided.
