Warning to other pet owners after Jess is harmed
Pet owners are being urged to be vigilant after an elderly dog was repeatedly attacked by a bird of prey in Governors Hill.
Diana Gale’s miniature Bijon poodle cross was targeted whilst in the garden.
Jess, who is 17, is deaf and has poor eyesight, sustained multiple puncture injuries.
Ms Gale told Manx Radio the first attack took place a few weeks ago and was initially blamed on longtails - but another incident this week was witnessed and involved a Peregrine falcon.
