7-year-old Ollie warming up after his ordeal
Fire crews from Douglas were called to rescue a dog that had become trapped in Groudle River this afternoon.
Just after 3:30pm a rescue team entered Groudle Glen to assist seven-year-old Ollie out of the water.
He's said to be a little damp and shaken from his experience but is warming up nicely.
The Fire and Rescue Service has warned of the increased dangers of flowing and open water, especially after heavy rain such as we've seen today.
