RTLC to consider request in the coming weeks
The Department of Infrastructure has formally applied for permission to reintroduce a bus route to Cregneash.
The department is seeking a variation of its regular service licence for Bus Vannin to introduce the 8S route, connecting Peel with a number of locations in the south of the Island, including Cregneash.
The Road Transport Licensing Committee has published details of the application, and says it's likely to consider the request at one of its next meetings on 29 July or 7 August.
The infrastructure minister previously stated she'd like to see the route up and running in time for the school holidays.
