Initiative receives unanimous support from Tynwald
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer's called on the whole of government to make the newly-approved Active Travel Strategy a success.
It was unanimously supported in the Tynwald chamber on Wednesday (July 18).
The plan aims to encourage Islanders to be more physically active and promote walking and cycling over a heavy dependency on motor vehicles.
Mr Harmer says there needs to be a concerted effort from everyone to make it work.
