The Department of Infrastructure says it has a list of potential new laws that may be needed, depending on the outcome of plans to set up a new Housing Association.
Minister Michelle Haywood is due to make a statement on housing in Tynwald, as work continues on the feasibility and structure of the association.
Government has been in deeper discussions with local authorities about housing, but Dr Haywood confirmed there’s been no direct engagement regarding the association itself.
