Follows approval of £40,000 of funding by Treasury
A coal tar advisor has been appointed by the Department of Infrastructure in the hopes of solving the Island's issue with coal tar.
Its presence has held up a number of projects on the Island, including the construction of a roundabout at Balthane in Ballasalla to link the existing road with the new bypass.
But after £40,000 of funding was approved by Treasury, a dedicated advisor is now in post.
