Restructuring at airport ongoing for months
The politician with responsibility for ports says discussions about potential restructuring of airport security staff at Ronaldsway have been ongoing for some months.
Department of Infrastructure member Tim Baker was responding to comments from Unite union boss Debbie Halsall, who said a current review into 16 members of staff there could result in a 'dispute'.
In a media release, Mrs Halsall claimed Ports Director Ann Reynolds was "in the process of unfairly dismissing the Airport Security section as a whole, under the guise of redundancy".
Mr Baker argues that's not the case.
