Setting up of Harbour Users Association welcomed
The DOI needs to take some of the blame for the problems in the Island's harbours, and has at times neglected its responsibilities in the past
So says Minister Phil Gawne
He was speaking following the first meeting of an All Island Harbour Users Association last week.
It's hoped the group can keep effective channels of communication open between harbour users and authorities.
Mr Gawne says he welcomes the setting up of the group . . and work is taking place to tidy harbour areas
