Items will be 'made ready for future use' after flood risk this week
People are being urged to return sandbags following flood warnings earlier this week.
The Department of Infrastructure says any which are returned to where they were collected from will be restacked and made ready for future use.
People can retain the items if they have somewhere appropriate to store them.
However the DoI says it doesn’t want to see them ‘left lying around’ as they are ‘unsightly’ and will eventually decay and split.
