Minister Tim Crookall says there's no 'obligation' for DOI to manage it
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed it won't be paying the Northern Civic Amenity Site's £67,000 shortfall after Bride Commissioners left.
Minister Tim Crookall says the local authorities affected by the decision will have to cover the cost and any inflationary increases themselves.
It was in response to a question asked by Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper in this week's sitting of the House of Keys.
Mr Crookall confirmed that if the site is handed back to his department a funding 'mechanism' from all northern authorities would be needed:
