
An MHK has welcomed the decision to halt plans to issue on-the-spot fines to bad drivers.
It was claimed the move would take pressure off the justice system and remove bureaucracy for police.
However, the idea was rejected after a Tynwald debate and the proposals will go back to the Infrastructure department for more consideration.
