Leonard Singer voted against applying changes to EU sanctions
Easing the Island’s sanctions regime is a mistake – because the nation can’t be trusted.
That’s the view of Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer, who this week in Tynwald voted against applying changes to EU sanctions.
The restrictions are being eased after an agreement was signed by the US following talks with Iran.
Mr Singer says the country is still fervently anti-Western, and thawing relations now could cost dearly later.
