Warning about cold calls
Police are warning there's a current phone scam where the caller claims to be from HMRC in the UK.
They demand you settle outstanding tax matters immediately or an enforcement officer will call to your address to collect payment.
Officers say you should never pass your bank details to a cold caller.
If you receive a call and are given a phone number to check their authenticity, check the number from another source.
