Police say they will deal with speeding motorists on a case-by-case basis and will use their discretion where necessary.
It comes after an Australian TT rider was stopped for exceeding a 50mph speed limit.
Rennie Scaysbrook claimed on social media that he was caught riding at ‘dramatically higher speeds than permitted’ and thanked the Manx police for not throwing him ‘in jail’.
