Six stop-searched on Fort Island
Fort Island in Derbyhaven is for taking in the scenery, not for drug taking.
That's the warning from police after six people were stop searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act there last night (Thurs).
The Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team took to social media to say it's expected that Manx beauty spots are treated with respect.
Officers have yet to confirm whether or not the individuals are charged with being in possession of illegal substances.
