Airport director responds to concerns
The Director of Ports has responded to concerns about the experience of queuing for long periods at Ronaldsway airport for those who are unwell or undergoing treatment.
This week Carol Male of the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group had described the situation facing the 'walking wounded' when travelling as 'farcical'.
Airport Director Ann Reynolds has since explained that all passengers with reduced mobility have priority through security checks, not just wheelchair users.
She's imploring those who need assistance to speak to staff at the airport when they check-in, so they can be fastracked to the front of the queue.
Mrs Male has welcomed the response as 'great news'.
