A Douglas advocate has been awarded the 2024 Deemster Kerruish Endeavour Award in recognition of her work on behalf of victims of modern slavery and human trafficking in the Isle of Man.
Maria Bridson from Bridson Halsall has provided legal representation to those who are most vulnerable and marginalised, often working without financial compensation, to give them the chance to live their lives free from exploitation and abuse.
Maria was nominated for the award by her peers, which is presented by the Isle of Man Law Society.
