Bucks road will fully open 5pm tomorrow (Sat)
Manx Gas has completed major works on a main route in and out of Douglas a month ahead of schedule.
The company has replaced mains pipes on Bucks Road between the Rosemount and the junction with Circular Road.
The works were estimated to take 11 weeks.
Over the course of the pre-planned project, diversions, closures and traffic light systems were in place, causing disruption for some commuters.
Customer Network Services director Robert Gardner says it's a job well done:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
Plans submitted for 85 new homes on former Buchan School site
