Volunteers asked to take on Douglas beach
Beach Buddies will be focusing on microplastics today.
The charity's weekly beach clean will take place in Douglas, despite there being little visible rubbish on the shore.
The organisation says recent school events have found thousands of small pieces of plastic the size of a fingernail, leading to this event being arranged.
The session takes place at the slipway opposite the bottom of Broadway from 10.30am until 12pm.
