Strand Street store open and continuing to trade
It's been confirmed to Manx Radio that the Douglas branch of Claire's is included with the UK administration process, but it is continuing to trade.
The fashion accessories chain, which has just over 300 stores in the UK and Ireland, has appointed administrators.
It puts nearly 2,200 jobs at risk if a rescue deal isn't found.
The company Interpath says it's exploring the possibility of a sale to secure the brand's future.
A spokesperson told Manx Radio the store, like all others currently, is open as usual.
