Douglas will have a new councillor by the end of this evening (Thursday).

Polling stations are open from 8am until 8 o’clock at the Masonic Hall in Woodbourne Road, for the Albany polling district; at MacFadyen Hall on Tromode Road for the Garden City district and at St Ninian’s High School for the Somerset district.
Although a third name will be on the ballot papers today – Keith Teare – the Council has confirmed Mr Teare has withdrawn from the election.
