Follows Mark Wheeler's resignation from the local authority
Douglas Council is looking for residents to stand in a by-election for its central ward later this year.
It comes after Mark Wheeler resigned from the local authority with immediate effect (25 September).
Nominations open on 2 October for those wanting to stand and forms can be found on the council website and must be returned by 8 October.
If more than one candidate steps forward, polling will take place on Thursday, 13 November.
