It comes after the local authority announced its plans to sell 17 properties
Douglas Council is inviting 'expressions of interest' for a new social housing development in the city.
It's looking to hear from landowners, developers and organisations with suitable sites or 'design-and-build' proposals which would deliver high-quality and affordable homes.
The local authority says the future scheme will be funded in part through the sale of the empty properties on Marathon Drive and Falcon Cliff Terrace.
It's asking those with potential developments of ten or more apartments to contact the council through its procurement portal.
