It'll come at a cost of £85
New memorial plaques in the Garden of Remembrance in Douglas will now only be in place for 10 years.
There will be an option to renew them, at a charge of £85 every 10 years if someone wants them to be kept, otherwise Douglas Council will remove them after the initial decade.
A plaque currently costs £197.90 and those purchased, until now, had no end date.
The local authority has confirmed older plaques won't be removed.
