Douglas Council says it’s splitting two of its popular events – after holding them on the same day last year.
Douglas Carnival and the Noble's Park Fun day will be held a fortnight apart and at different venues this year after combining both on Douglas Promenade in 2014.
Chairman of the corporation's Regeneration and Community Committee John Skinner says they’re now looking for organisations, traders and charities who’d like stalls for the fun day, which will be held on August 1st.
Councillor Skinner explained the decision to separate the two:

Plans for 'all-age pathway' for adult autism and ADHD diagnosis by 2029
Some trailers got 'lost' during recent backlog of freight at Heysham
Police told to reassess FOI response
Census support available from next week
Mobile classroom needed to 'alleviate' pressure at Henry Bloom Primary School
