Coastguard found the individual late last night
A Douglas RNLI Lifeboat crew was called out overnight (11:15pm) to help in the search for a missing person.
The all-weather lifeboat 'Marine Engineer' was sent out into heavy rain to search along the Marine Drive shoreline from Douglas Head lighthouse to Port Soderick.
After half-an-hour, the crew was advised by Douglas Coastguard (11.45pm) they could stand down and return to the station, as the missing person had been found.
With a falling tide, the crew say loading the lifeboat back into the station to be washed and re-fueled was light work, and the vessel is ready to be used again.
