Douglas lifeboat was called out yesterday afternoon to help look for a missing person believed to be in the area of the Marine Drive.
It was launched just after 4pm, to carry out a close inshore search from Douglas to Port Soderick.
The crew was stood down after completing one sweep of the area when the person was reported to have been located safe and well.
