No pleas yet to charges of assault and affray
A Douglas man has been remanded in custody as he faces allegations he brandished a three-inch kitchen knife and threatened to kill his partner.
Fifty-year-old Christopher Quilliam, of Watterson Close, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
He hasn't yet entered pleas to charges of assault and affray.
Police were called to Mr Quilliam's home on 22 February, at around 10pm, where they allegedly saw him brandishing the knife and making threats.
The court heard Mr Quilliam and his girlfriend had been drinking and were both intoxicated during the incident.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in court again on 3 March.
