Police found heroin, cocaine and cannabis
A Douglas man will be sentenced in December after police found heroin, cocaine and cannabis at his home.
Liam Richard Kaighin of Empire Terrace appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
He admitted possessing all three drugs on 4 September.
Prosecution advocate Barry Swain said police had executed a search warrant at Kaighin’s home address at around 2pm that day.
Inside, police discovered cocaine and cannabis – and the court heard Kaighin had tried to hide a Kinder egg capsule containing heroin in his backside.
The hearing was told in total, officers found drugs worth up to £600.
The 42-year-old’s advocate asked magistrates to adjourn the case while the probation service compiles a report.
Kaighin was granted bail and will be sentenced on 12 December.
