22-year-old remanded in custody
A Douglas man assaulted two police officers on New Year's Day after being taken into custody.
Twenty-two-year-old Leroy Stephen McHarrie, of Mona Drive, appeared at Douglas Courthouse through a live link from the Isle of Man Prison.
An allegation of damaging property was withdrawn.
Magistrates remanded him in custody and he's next due to appear in court on 17 February.
