34-year-old will stand trial
A Douglas man will stand trial after being accused of causing death by dangerous driving.
Jackson Joseph Paul, of Palace Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse today (19 March).
The 34-year-old entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jordan Thomas sustained fatal injuries following a road traffic collision on Harbour Road in Onchan on 25 February.
Committal proceedings – where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery – will take place on 23 April; Mr Paul has been bailed until that date.
