25-year-old was using 'foul and abusive language'
A Douglas man has been fined £650 after admitting being drunk and disorderly.
Cairo Dean Benjamin, of Alder Road, was also in possession of 0.1g of cocaine when police were called to reports of a couple fighting at Sumark Croft in Douglas on 24 August.
Officers attempted to calm down the 25-year-old who was drunk and 'using foul and abusive language'.
Fining Benjamin, and ordering him to pay £125 in prosecution costs, Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood told him: "It is unacceptable to behave in that manner, particularly in a residential area."
