A Douglas man will stand trial after being accused of domestic abuse.
Craig Brereton, of Lakeside Road, allegedly picked the woman up by her t-shirt and threw her across a hallway into a banister which broke.
The 42-year-old entered a not guilty plea to the offence - which was allegedly committed between 1 and 4 July this year - during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
Bail was granted until his next court appearance for a pre-trial review on 28 November.
Update: At a pre-trial review on 12 December 2024 Magistrates set a trial date of 24 March 2025; bail continues.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 20 March 2025 the trial date was vacated. A new trial date has been set for 4 August 2025.
