
The Island's largest local authority has a special meeting this morning, held in public, to consider its budget for the coming year, and the rates for its residents.
Douglas Borough Council is set to convene at the town hall at 10am.
Speaking earlier this month, Council Leader David Christian told Manx Radio handling spiralling waste disposal charges at the incinerator would be one of the key factors when it came to setting the rate for the coming financial year:
