Infrastructure member gives update on prom project after recent criticism
The politician in charge of highways on the Isle of Man says the refurbishment works along Douglas promenade are "a team game."
Tim Baker MHK, who is a political member of the Department of Infrastructure, was speaking on behalf of the DoI to give an update on progress of the project.
That's in light of a damning newspaper article this week, under the headline 'Prom Flaws are Exposed', which appears to picture structural cracking in the concrete from below the surface of the roadway.
Mr Baker says the department, the contractor - Auldyn Construction - the designers, and all other stakeholders, must work together:
