Douglas Council has announced a rate rise of five percent.
It's set to increase from 573 pence to 602 pence in the pound.
Council Leader Claire Wells says "it's a 'balanced, responsible and sustainable' budget for the capital which would ensure all essential services were delivered for those who live and work in the city".
