A Douglas resident says he was delighted to see a 'once-in-a-lifetime' comet and photograph it.
Richard Dickens, who enjoys spotting the Aurora Borealis and astrophotography, told Manx Radio knowing that comet Tsuchinshan—Atlas would be visible, he 'made a plan' at 7:30pm last night and headed west.
He was in Niarbyl when he spotted the 'comet of a century' and he's hoping to see it again on Thursday.
