Unconscious crewman on fishing vessel
A medical emergency has called for the need of a Douglas RNLI lifeboat.
The all-weather lifeboat Marine Engineer was launched at 1pm after the report of an unconscious crewman on a fishing vessel in Douglas Harbour.
Upon arrival alongside the vessel which was moored at the Fort Anne Jetty, the casualty had regained consciousness and had no other injuries requiring immediate attention.
With only ladder access to the top of the Fort Anne Jetty, the casualty was transferred to the lifeboat and taken across the harbour to the Liner Berth where he was handed over to paramedics.
